Litvinsky Ludwig Leonidovich

Biography

Litvinsky Ludwig Leonidovich, born in 1960, Doctor of Science (physics and mathematics), director of the State Scientific-Engineering Centre of Control Systems and Emergency Response (SSEC CSER). Graduated from the physical faculty of the Kiyiv State University named after Т. Shevchenko in 1982. He obtained his Ph.D. (engineering) from the Institute for Nuclear Research, National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine  (INR NASU) in 1985.
In 1985-1996: junior research fellow, senior research fellow, head of a division in the  INR NASU. His main research areas in the INR NASU were  neutron physics, nuclear spectroscopy, nuclear astrophysics. 
He has been director of the SSEC CSER since its creation in 1996.  His main activity areas in the SSEC CSER are nuclear power engineering, nuclear industry, handling of  radioactive waste, radiation safety, ecology and radioecology.
