Biography

Dr.Eng., Prof. Anatoly L.Maistrenko

Corresponding Member of the Ukraine National Academy of Sciences

Born on 24.05.1946 in Volgograd city.

1964 -1969 – studies at the T.Shevhenko Kiev State Univeristy Mechanics and Mathematics faculty

1969 – upon University graduation, employed  to the Ukraine National Academy of Sciences Institute of Problems for Strength;

1971 – enrolled to Ph.D studies; 1976 – Ph.D. thesis defended.

1977- employment at the  Ukraine National Academy of Sciences V.N. Bakul’ Institute of Superhard Materials, section of Superhard materials’ strength:

-1977 – senior staff scientist;

-1981 – chief of specialized laboratory .

1986-1987-  scientific stage at the Max Plank Institute of Metal Science (Stuttgart, Germany), laboratory of Ceramic materials destruction mechanics (scientific supervisor Prof. F.Gerold);

-1989 – Dr.Sc. thesis defended in the topic «Diamond-containing composite materials’ resistance to destruction»;

Beginning from 1993  to the present date  –  Chief of the “Computerised materials science for composite materials applied at rock-destruction tools» behind the  Ukraine National Academy of Sciences V.N. Bakul’ Institute of Superhard Materials,

In 1995 obtained the Professor title in the field “Materials science”, qualification by the Ukraine Ministry of Education and Science Supreme Attestation Committee.

1992 - 2005 – Scientific Secretary of the Specialized scientific board Д26.230.01 considering dissertations in the special fields: 05.02.01-Materials science and 05.03.01- Processing technology.

1998 – 2006 – Scientific Secretary of the Expert Board of the  Ukraine Supreme Attestation Committee in the fields of General machine building and Materials science.

Beginning from 2006 the Corresponding Member of Ukraine National Academy of Sciences, Section of Physical and technological problems  of materials experting in the specialty “Materials science, Materials technology».
