Biography

Dr.Eng., Prof. Rostyslav A. Bun 

Born in 1956. 

In 1978 graduated from the I.Franko L’viv State University  Faculty of Physics. 

1988 – Ph.D.,  1996 – Dr. Eng., 2004 – Professor. 

Period 1996-2005 – Deputy Director for Scientific and Researcher Activity of the  Ukraine Ministry of Transport and Communications State Scientific Researcher Institute of Information Infrastructure (L’viv city). 

Beginning from 2005 holds the position of Professor at the “L’vivs’ka Polytehnika” National University Department of Applied Mathematics. 

Professor of Academy of Information and Management Bialsko-Biala, Poland (1999) 

Professor of  the Academy of Business in Dąbrowa Górnicza, Poland  (2005). 

Author of 5 monographs and more that 200 scientific publications. 

Domain of scientific interests: mathematical simulation of complex processes and phenomena, information technologies for ecology and environmental safety problems resolving, geo-information technologies of greenhouse gas emission  spatial analysis.
