  • Abstract

    We propose an analytic solution of the boundary problem that is generated by the symmetrical system of the differential Maxwell equations in the case of an arbitrary excited linear isotropic homogeneous medium. The initial and boundary conditions are given for the one-dimensional semi-infinite waveguide, considering the temporal coordinate as the main variable. The present results allow solving explicitly the problems of the signal transmission in the aforesaid media including the questions of the mobile communications.
