  • Abstract

    The hybrid censoring scheme is a mixture of type-I and type-II censoring schemes. In this paper we develop the scalar estimation error  from the linex loss function and we consider the estimation of the three parameters of Burr-X II based on type-II hybrid censored data. The parameters are estimated by the Lindley Approximation and Gibbs Sampling. Monte Carlo is simulation used to compare the different methods and we analyse one data set for illustrative purposes.
