  • Abstract

    The forearm fractures constitute about 15% of all fractures of the limb segments. The most common they are among athletes and people involved in a traffic accidents or military actions. The relevance of design and numerical analysis of structures for fixing broken bones is determined with certain imperfections and insufficient research of orthopedic devices’ fixation rod. The study is devoted to important problems of modern traumatology: scientific substantiation and development of fixing holder design; development of methods to determine the forearm fractures locking structure strength and rigidity characteristics for the treatment success.
